JEZEBEL Hep Cat Hop will take place in Kellokoski at 10.11....we will
have a superb show as usual with guest band Roy & Texas Reds and
special guest appearence by Pete Boy Salmi (from T-bird Gang) backed
up by DHC. DJ El Bingo will spin some hot vinyls ...be there!!!

Our web-server changed and  we
lost a couple of older news from this list... DHC is already planning
it's next release for the end of this year!!! The release will be
both cd and vinyl!!.....
As you probaply noticed, our song samples are now arranged on the
left side of the screen to a radio-themed mp3-player, now all the
songs are in their full length and glory!!!! ENJOY!

Here it is finally, the cover for our first full cd release from Empire
 records!
The material is now in Spain for pressing and we have estimated that
the release date will be in November. We'll keep you informed...we
have already started to put up material for a vinyl release which
is planned to be 10 incher....DHC's guitar and bass section (KK&Jake)
have teamed up with Vesa Haaja from Barnshakers to form a new band
called Hi-Fly

Yes, I know....it's been too long again since our last update and
I  must
apologize for all of you who have popped in to see the latest DHC
news for last three months....but now, here is something you all been
waiting for, our long awaited cd is now mastered and ready to go to
spain for pressing and it sounds GREAT! Big Thanks go to Pete Salmi
from T-Bird Gang who mastered the whole package in PS-Tonelab!!...we
will put up some video and soundclips from our JEZEBEL gig, which
, by the way,was a success !!....

We are finally wrapping up our studio sessions which  have
lasted since the beginnning of this year. The latest release plan
is for september, try to hang on.....
Our next gig will be at our own JEZEBEL-club, in idyllic surroundings

SWEDEN, get ready! DHC will play a gig in Falun
on 24th of february! Gig is on friday and it takes place
at Big Booze Party at Hedenborg....
Release schedule changes!! DHC's long awaited full length cd release
from Empire Records will be delayed. New release date is in the beginning
of May...DHC will have two songs on a compilation by Goofin Records!
This compilation will be released in March 9th at the Rockabilly Rave
weekender...we are still waiting for the Wild records compilation's
release.....

Yes, it's time for an update on DHC-news!!!
We are in a middle of hectic recording sessions for
our future releases which will include a cd for Empire Records
in March 06 and also a vinyl from our own Hubcap label...
and as if that would not be enough, we will also
participate on at least one live compilation and a DVD
of which we will give information later on when things get
more organized....we got some nice video shots from
our last gig at Hyvinkää, they will be online soon...

More Songs for Comps + a new VIDEO!
 DHC has
been invited to a compilation cd by WILD Records in San Francisco.
Other Bands on that comp will be names like Darrell Higham, Rip Carson,
Carlos & The Bandidos etc...so we are in good company for sure!...one
wild night will be on 7th of January when DHC will be on a same bill
with Wildfire Willie and The Ramblers at Crown Fire Rock'n'roll Festival!

DHC SONG RELEASED on compilation!
Rock-around the EEC vol. 1 by Empire Records includes
a song by DHC called "If You Want To Be My Baby". The compilation
has 30 songs by rockin' bands all over the European nation. The cover
art is done by DHC's guitar ace KK, who's also responsible for doin'
a whole lot of other cd-cover and web-related stuff, for example check

HEJA SVERIGE! Daryl Haywood Combo will be touring
in Sweden in the end of August. One gig will be in Uppsala, the other
one is stilll not confirmed....
A good night of rockin entertainment is guaranteed as DHC will be
on a gig with MIGHTY FOUR in september at
Jezebel-Club night in Kellokoski, Tuusula...and yes, we are
really happy to get on stage with BIG SANDY & The Flyrite
Boys in July!.......

Thanks for all rockin' people who came to see
us on our tour in Denmark and Holland! We sure are looking forward
to getting back there someday!
Especially the crazy people at DeKroeg made an impression on us! They
sure know how to have a good time! We also had an opportunity to play
with some cool musicians as they joined us on stage. Jess
from Taggy Tones joined us for a medley of old sun
classics on our gig in Copenhagen and in Geldrop's DeKroeg
we had an honor to back up a very talented young lady Chrissy
on Janis Martin's Drugstore Rock'n'roll ! Check out

Gonna have some fun tonight! ...DHC will be playing
in Finlands most famous amusement park in first friday of May. This
happening will consist of a show of custom and hot rod cars parked
in front of the stage as DHC will be performing their usual set to
add some rockabilly vibe to the show...the show serves as a good startup
for that nights traditional cruising-night happening around Helsinki
downtown and showtime will be around 16-18...

Rock Around The Boat roots-night at Wäiski brought
a
 new venue to the scene. A small, cozy bar located at the bottom
floor of the boat was surprisingly an ideal spot for small gigs where
you appreciate intimate atmosphere. Another newcomer, Mighty Four
opened the night with an incredible set of rhythm'n'blues and jump swing.
Right after their set DHC took the stage and kicked their set off with an
instrumental Jump, Bop & Boogie!
 The
setlist was mainly built around DHC's own material with three cover songs,
Sonny Fisher's I Can't lose, Sleepy La Beef's Little Bit More
and an old rhythm'n'blues classic, Drinkin' Wine Spo-dee-o-dee performed in Johnny Burnette style. The audience took advantage of the dance floor and there was a whole lot of boppin' and shakin going on
until it was time for last song, a swingin DHC original, Bankrobber.
Audience shouted for an encore, so they got three more songs and then it
was time to go upstairs for the night's last band J.B.Gang. We were
lucky to have a camera guy with us ( Thanks Juppe! ) so we will add some
video clips of the gig on this site soon....

New Talent Night
was great, the bar was packed and
people were having a good time while DHC took the
stage, thanks for the audience for support and good
atmosphere! The other new talents that night were Teddy Jive and
Streamline 59...if you are a gig promoter, club owner or party
organizer and you're looking for a rockabilly band that delivers the
goods, contact DHC and we will send you our CD Crazy Rhythm Rock
for your evaluation...we will also be selling this CD at our gigs for 10,-
